About the Author

“People who are crazy enough to think they can make a difference in the world, usually do.” I’ve come across plenty of such crazies and I hope to become one of them. As a documentarian, photographer and activist, the possibility of empowering people through knowledge, information and practical solutions with whatever tools are at my disposal, is my driving force. I’m from a country constantly misunderstood, and its true stories are never fully explored, and there are so many areas needing critical attention.

Originally from a background rich in activism and social work, I’m basically a chip of the old block. I’ve worked a decade in a multinational, a couple of years in an NGO, and now very happily making documentaries that not only interest me, but for which there is a real need. Thus my interests are many including developmental, social and economic – but they all have a bottom line – how to inspire, empower, improve and facilitate.
Cheers :).
